Getting inspiration from others can be a great driving force for us freelancers to get more great ideas to use in future projects. Inspiration can come in many forms: we might see some nice typography on our favourite Netflix show, see a sign on the side of a bus or the typographical layout in a magazine. Or if you're looking for web specific ideas you can go to Google and bring up thousands of images or websites that can get those creative juices flowing.
So I thought I'd share the sites and resources I use on an almost daily basis to get my brain in creative mode:
Awwwards
If you create anything web related you've probably heard of Awwwards, if you haven't where have you been! Its my first go-to when I'm stuck or want to see something beautiful. Awwwards quote themselves as:
A meeting point, where digital design professionals from across the globe find inspiration, impart knowledge and experience, connect, and share constructive, respectful critiques.
Its not just a library of web design inspiration but a hub for knowledge basis, design courses, latest trends and so much more.

Behance
This is a great resource for anything and everything design - from websites to brochures and artwork to logos and branding concepts. It's a plethora of ideas and creativity. its also a great platform to share your work and get feedback from others and top designers in their field.
You can also look for creative jobs and even hire creatives for your next project.

dribbble
The self proclaimed "world's destination for design" really does just that. It showcases designs covering many different media types from millions of top-rated designers and agencies around the world.
When it comes to web design inspiration it shows a lot of prototypes or design concepts instead of live, working examples so you do need to look at the work with a critical eye as some of the designs may not translate well for a fully functional design but, as an inspirational source its one of my favourites.
